About Headstart Startup Saturday:
Startup Saturday is Headstart Network Foundation's flagship event which sees over 1000 attendees every month (across India) come together to listen to talks and panel discussions by successful entrepreneurs, VCs, mentors and industry experts. Startup Saturday is organized on the second Saturday of every month by a team of super-passionate volunteers so that startup enthusiasts learn, get inspired and network with the best. Some of India's top startups (Ola, Flipkart, etc) made one of their first demos at a Startup Saturday.

Sushama Nagarkar has been working in the field of psychology and disabilities for over 35 years. She founded Yash Charitable Trust (YCT) in 2014 with the aim of assisting persons with development disabilities to successfully transition into adulthood, become responsible and productive members of the community, and have wonderfully fulfilling adult lives. Arpan, a home-cooked lunch tiffin service, is YCT's flagship supported employment program. Arpan's team is entirely made up of adults with developmental disabilities. They prepare and deliver freshly cooked meals on a daily basis to a number of customers. Her latest initiative, Cafe Arpan, will be the first cafe in Mumbai that will be run by persons with development disabilities.

Henna Khan is the founder of Universe Simplified Foundation, a Mumbai-based not-for-profit that sets up low-cost Innovation Hubs within schools for economically challenged children. The organisation envisions a world where education empowers students and communities to apply science and technology to address real-life challenges. She has worked with 1500+ students across 15 schools and has conducted 110 Workshops. So far, her endeavor that led to 40 different innovations by the students. She strongly believes that all children are born curious and their true potential can be achieved through a platform that allows them to question, explore, innovate, and be the true masters of their own learning.

Girish is currently leading the Incubation Program at UnLtd India. He is a Chartered Accountant and has over 17 years of experience in financial services. He has led some significant escrow deals, product development & process improvements. Earlier as Managing Partner of Finoventure Capital Services, Girish has aided and advised a number of new entities to raise funds and build a cohesive narrative of their entrepreneurial journey. Girish specialises in startups, online communities, networking and value-added advisory.
