Avagmah is angel invested by K Ganesh (Founder of Tutorvista), Neeraj Bhargava and VCs eg Network 18, Lionrock Capital. Avagmah last month closed one more round of investment from Kris Gopalakrishnan – co-founer - Infosys and Atul Nishar – Founder Aptech and Hexaware. With this Avagmah has received investments of $ 5 mn in the last 18 months.

Vamsi Krishna

Vamsi Krishna is Co-founder at Vedantu, an Ed-Tech startup that offers Live Online Tutoring. Vedantu operates on a true ‘marketplace of teachers’ model that offers complete ‘choice’ to both teachers and students. The name Vedantu is formed by two Sanskrit words Veda (Knowledge) + Tantu (Network), signifying a 'Knowledge Network'. Vedantu is his second venture together in education. Vedantu was founded with the vision of creating a world of learning that is personalized and democratized.

Vamsi completed his B. Tech. from IIT-Bombay in the year 2005 and has been a teacher for more than 6 years. Under his leadership, Vedantu raised USD 5 million in Series A round of funding within just six months of its launch from marquee investors such as Accel Partners and Tiger Global. He has been invited to speak at prestigious conferences such as TEDx Walled City and KINSES 2016 where he presented as the one of the winners of EduAwards 2016.

Amruth is the co-founder & CEO of Guru-G Learning Labs - a startup focused on empowering teachers to teach better. Guru-G provides teachers with an app that trains them everyday on how they can use different teaching techniques and lesson plans to teach better. Guru-G works with 400+ schools across India and recently won the People’s Choice Award by Google for the Best Startup at the Startup India event by the Prime Minister’s Office.

He is an alumnus of BITS Pilani, a Sauvé Scholar at EdTech Lab of McGill University & an alumnus of Unreasonable At Sea - a global tech accelerator run by the Unreasonable Institute and co-taught by the founder of Stanford’s d.school. His first startup in college - Vita Beans, has designed & sold over 100 applications, games & products for some of the largest education & assessment companies in India. He has been featured in media globally & has had speaking invitations at several international events in over a dozen countries.
